The Cinven Foundation

The Cinven Foundation is a vehicle for the firm's corporate giving. The Foundation mainly supports education-related programmes, making a substantial donation to a limited number of charities each year.

The Foundation provides a way for Cinven to support charitable causes that are important to staff members. Subject to the Trustees' approval, it matches any charitable donation made by a Cinven employee up to a limit of £1,000 per person per year, and makes ad-hoc donations to other individuals who are close to the firm who request sponsorship for participation in charitable events.

The Foundation makes an annual donation to the Private Equity Foundation, of which Cinven is a member. The Private Equity Foundation raises significant sums from the private equity industry and its business partners to support charities that help young people to succeed.
